Home is where your heart lives. One of the most significant green decisions we make in our lives is where and how and where we live. Our choices have far reaching carbon impacts. It is our choice and responsibility to create a home, however humble or small that serves as a comforting retreat, or an environment that allows us to center and ground ourselves before venturing out into the world.
What can you do in the next 48 hours to improve your home to cure Affluenza?
What habits can you change in the next 21 days?
Our choice to own a home and build a urban farm in downtown Indianapolis has made all the difference. Transportation to and from work and play requires a short commute. While dining options are plentiful, most of our meals are at home from the crockpot. Slow cooking provides our home with nutrient dense meals and the aroma of a home made supper while eliminating the fast food drive thru. With more time I can focus on curing Affluenza with these 3 easy action steps:
Action Step 1: Seeking out the undone or the project(s) that have not been complete, then prioritize your solutions
Action Step 2: Are there any modifications to make your space different with out expense.
Action Step 3: How does your household handle trash, recycling and compost to maximize your resources?
