Not perfect permaculture

When the currants give you a cup of berries you bake a permaculture bundt cake.  Adding the blueberries from last year, the currant patches is on it second season and may only yield 3 cups this year.

The daily investment of outdoor time is now a ritual at U-Relish Farm. Culling is such an imperfect activity, permaculture does not have your design schematic or your timeline. We are merely stewards of our resources. Challenged by these self seeding tomatoes for instance… Do I move them to maximize potential or do I give way to nature.

Then there is the out of bounds self seeding Calendula…

No structure and no extra time to replant or toil in the soil, because I am to busy eating permaculture cake.
