I have this notion that those that are frugal hem and alter their own clothing, grow their own food and have learned the benefit of Cinnamon Bark while water bath canning.
While spending hours on harvesting our front yard golden delicious apples with their spiral slices and tapioca pearls it was time to preserve them using a water bath method. So if you are going to boil water, fill your house with the fall smell of cinnamon by using a stick of bark to hydrate the house with aroma. Cinnamon is in the half pints of pink lady apple crisp filling pictured below.
There will be Apple Crisps in the crockpot this season and well into the winter.
Since cinnamon is on my mind, it is time to use cinnamon as a root stimulator for growing next years garden.
I have broken apart the bulb into gloves and then will soak them over night before planting them for Sow Seed Sunday.
